Children’s yoga class where we learn different asanas (postures) through games and story telling. Yoga asanas imitate animals and nature around us. We learn to pay attention to our breathing, body and emotions.
Regular practice of yoga makes children more flexible, emotionally stable, and resilient, develops coordination and concentration and teaches relaxation. We also talk about the core yogic values, such as honesty, helpfulness, gratitude, patience, perseverance, positive thinking, consideration of others and our surroundings. In every class we do yoga accompanied by dance, music and rhymes!
